These intermediate-level commentaries contains a Latin text, notes and vocabulary for two poems by Philadelphia-area poet John Carey: “I have found out a gift for my fair…” and “On the Fifteen American States”. It was created by R. Xu in Haverford’s Post-Classical Latin seminar in the spring of 2017 under the guidance of Prof. Bret Mulligan.
